Close-up Magic

Close-up magic (also know as table magic or mix-and-mingle magic) is performed in an intimate setting usually no more than a foot from one's audience. Close-up magic is usually performed while people are standing with drinks at a reception or seated at a table.

Cabaret Magic

Also known as platform or stand-up magic, is performed for a medium to large audience. This type of performance is distinguished by the use of larger props and the use of assistants from within the audience.
